What's covered

• ✓Hijack Distress Allowance: You will be compensated for each day of hijacking of a common carrier.
• ✓Loss of Passport & Driving License: You will get help with costs incurred for the issuance of an emergency certificate or duplicate passport if they are lost or stolen while your trip abroad.
• ✓Loss of Baggage and Personal Belongings: You will be compensated for loss or damage to your baggage and personal belongings due to theft, larceny, robbery, or hold-up.

Exclusions

• ✗The policy will not cover claims arising from war or acts of war, invasion, or act of terrorism.
• ✗The insurer does not cover participation in military operations or exercises.
• ✗Your policy will not cover claims such as loss of earnings due to injury or illness during a trip.
• ✗Suicide attempts, self-inflicted injuries, or illnesses are not covered.
• ✗Any claims due to alcohol or drug consumption, are not covered.
• ✗The policy will not cover claims for refunds of course fees or sponsorship fees, unless specifically covered.
• ✗This policy does not cover claims arising from invalid travel documents , such as an invalid passport or visa.
• ✗The policy does not cover travel to any country against whom travel restrictions have been imposed.
• ✗The policy will not cover claims for the purpose of availing treatment of an existing medical condition or medical tourism.
